Guayabera Shirt
This Guayabera inspired soft blue linen shirt is made from a vintage tablecloth, most likely from the 60’s or 70’s. It has a woven design and two lower pockets.
The Guayabera is a Latin American garment, popular in Mexico and Cuba, and is sometimes referred to as a ‘Mexican wedding shirt’ due to its popularity in formal events.
This shirt fits like a M/L and has a roomy and boxy fit, perfect for a warm summers day, with beautiful square Pāua shell buttons.
Measurements:
Chest (pit to pit): 61cm
Front (Shoulder to Hem): 72cm
Sleeve: 25cm
Note: All items are made from second-hand and pre-loved fabrics and textiles. Some are 50+ years old, so may contain imperfections and irregularities. This is completely normal for vintage textiles of this age, and I have made sure they do not affect the structural integrity of the piece.
